Among women who replaced pads, tampons or cups with menstrual underwear, opinions are very positive. Most admit that Masmi underwear performs well even on the first days of the period with heavy bleeding. About changing a pad or tampon you should remember every 3-4 hours depending on the period intensity – Menstrual underwear only needs to be replaced twice a day.We recommend buying 2 pairs of underwear – One pair we wear, the other is ready clean for change, but if you want to be sure that on these days there will always be a clean, washed pair waiting, you can get even more pairs. Optimal amount is 3 pieces.

• With menstrual underwear, do you use a pad or tampon at the same time?

Menstrual underwear are designed to provide protection during menstruation by themselves. There is no need to wear an extra pad, but if you feel more comfortable with a pad, you can use it exactly like in normal underwear. You can also wear the underwear for extra protection during menstruation when using a tampon or menstrual cup.

• Are menstrual underwear expensive?

Menstrual underwear are very durable and long-lasting, so their purchase is definitely economical. One pair can serve us for 3-4 years without loss of absorbency. How to wash and care for the products?

1. Wash before first use.
2. After use, we recommend rinsing and/or soaking before washing.
3. Can be hand washed or machine washed with the rest of the laundry or in a separate laundry bag (if you prefer).
4. If using a washing machine, wash at a temperature no higher than 40º.
5. For proper care, use neutral soaps. Do not use chlorine, bleach, fabric softeners, natural oils or Marseille soap, as they may affect absorbency.
6. Do not use a dryer, as it may reduce absorbency.
